About the Role

This Band 6 Midwife position offers a unique opportunity to work in a highly motivated and friendly maternity team, covering Bath, North East Somerset, and West Wiltshire. As a member of our community birth team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care throughout pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period.

You will have the opportunity to lead and promote excellence in midwifery practice, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team. Your commitment to providing continuity of care for families and your ability to adapt to changing situations will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

In addition to your clinical skills, you will possess strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. You will also be aware of national and local policies impacting maternity services and be willing to update your practice in light of new knowledge and research.
