Job Title: Science Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and well-qualified Science Teacher to join our team at North Oxfordshire Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a curriculum built on 'bringing out the best in everyone.'

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students in Science
  • Work closely with the Head of Science and other science teachers to develop and implement the curriculum
  • Have high expectations of students in terms of learning, achievement, and behavior
  • Be enthusiastic about developing innovative and creative approaches to learning, teaching, and student participation
  • Have a sound subject knowledge that can be utilized to challenge all pupils
  • Have a clear understanding of the latest curriculum and pedagogical developments in Science
  • Be able to engage and motivate pupils
  • Be committed to supporting our enrichment programme by facilitating co-curricular clubs
