Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to customers, promoting their personal choice, privacy, and dignity.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and support plans, ensuring the needs of customers are met.
  • Deliver small group activities to promote recovery and well-being, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and person-centered approach to care.
  • Contribute to the development of professional relationships with customers, utilizing effective communication and empathy.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with adults with physical/learning disabilities or high needs.
  • Ability to relate and empathize with individuals with physical/learning disabilities.
  • Capacity to work effectively in high-pressure situations, prioritizing customer needs.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages and internet communications.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards.
