Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special school in Blandford Forum.

About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who can provide support to identified pupils with Special Education Needs (SEN) and/or mental health challenges. The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pupils throughout the day, helping them to remain focused and on task.
  • Guide pupils when they are struggling, and help them to become regulated and calm.
Requirements:
  • Have an interest in supporting children/young people.
  • Right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa).
  • Relevant references and DBS/Police checks.
  • Able to work 3-5 days per week, term time only.
