Job Summary:

Magna Exteriors, a leading provider of innovative vehicle exterior solutions, seeks a skilled Material Handler to join their afternoon shift team. As a key member of the production support team, you will be responsible for conducting pre-shift forklift inspections, loading and unloading materials, and supplying production lines with required components.

The ideal candidate will possess good English communication skills, basic mathematical skills, and knowledge of WHMIS/GHS. They will also be physically fit, able to occasionally lift heavier boxes, and have experience in operating forklifts. A current valid Raymond Reach license is required.

This role offers an estimated salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location. If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and complete forklift safety checklists
  • Follow instructions to move materials, parts, and components
  • Load, unload, and move material, parts, and components within or near the plant, yard, or workcell
  • Supply production lines with required components
  • Report any defective packaging and store them in designated areas
  • Clean up work cells when necessary
  • Attend training based on the Mytox Internal Training Matrix
  • Utilize effective housekeeping practices (shop floor, storage area)
  • Adhere to all Mytox safety rules and regulations
  • Participate in Mytox Continuous Improvement and 5S activities
  • Follow all applicable Mytox BOS procedures
  • Any other reasonable request by management
