Lead Finance and Trust Assurance and Compliance

Join Allwyn UK, a leading lottery operator, in a pivotal role that will shape the future of our National Lottery. As a Finance and Trust Assurance and Compliance leader, you will be part of our second-line Finance and Trust functional assurance and compliance team, working closely with Finance Function management and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evolving and strengthening the Assurance framework for Finance and Trust
  • Implementing and reporting on effective monitoring controls and procedures
  • Communicating effectively to senior stakeholders on assurance activities
  • Leading a team of four, including an Assurance Manager, two Assurance Analysts, and a graduate trainee
  • Embedding Assurance, Compliance, and Risk frameworks across Finance and Trust
  • Supporting the Finance Director and wider Finance team in implementing National Lottery licence conditions and Trust Deed policies
Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualification with audit and/or compliance, regulatory, and assurance background
  • Strong analytical and intellectual agility, with ability to learn and manage complexity quickly
  • High level of integrity and independence, with ability to partner with the business
  • Commercial acumen and strategic mindset, with experience of leadership and operating at a senior level
