Job Title: Finance Assurance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Assurance Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our Finance and Trust function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation and monitoring of our assurance framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior Assurance Manager: Finance and Trust in embedding the Assurance, Compliance, and Risk frameworks across Finance and Trust.
  • Perform second-line activities over the Trust arrangement, managing player funds as an independent team from Treasury and Trust.
  • Support the Senior Assurance Manager to run the Funds Protection Forum, ensuring regulatory and governance requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director and Senior Assurance Manager: Finance and Trust to implement and monitor the National Lottery licence conditions, Trust Deed, and Fund Protection policies.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of finance and compliance, with a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant and audit and/or compliance, regulatory, and assurance background preferred.
  • High level of integrity and independence, with excellent communication skills and executive presence.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships across Finance, Central Assurance, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams.
  • Experience in leadership and operating with senior stakeholders, with a strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset.
