Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Genius Sports as a Football Technology Operator. This role is responsible for ensuring the continued development and success of our Semi Automated Offside Technology (SAOT) product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the operations team to apply software expertise to aid in matchday situations.
  • Master and have complete command over the entire SAOT system and processes.
  • Analyse live tracks, validate markings, and provide quality assurance as necessary for all system events.

Requirements:

  • Extreme attentiveness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with definitional football terms and concepts.
  • Proactive communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Strong tolerance for repetitive tasks and ability to work under pressure.
  • Prior experience with making time-critical judgment calls regarding live data processing and engineering support.
  • Ability to enforce self-accountability and lead a team to achieve high performance standards.
  • Background working with football refereeing terms or experience as a referee is desirable but not essential.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Flexibility to work early morning and late evening shifts.
  • Ability to work within a one-hour radius of West London.
