The Role:
As a School Crossing Patrol Officer with Hampshire County Council, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of children on their way to and from school. You will be responsible for monitoring traffic and pedestrian flow, and providing a visible presence to deter drivers from speeding or ignoring traffic signals.
We are looking for a responsible and dedicated individual who can demonstrate traffic awareness and a commitment to making our roads safer for children and other pedestrians. The role involves working 10 hours per week during term time, typically an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon. A uniform is provided to protect you against the weather, and some basic IT skills are required.
