Supported Internship Teacher

At USP College, we are committed to providing a high-quality education that prepares our students for successful careers. As a Supported Internship Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping our students achieve their goals and develop the skills they need to succeed in the workplace.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a supported internship setting. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of our students and provide them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver curriculum plans that meet the needs of students with SEND in a supported internship setting.
- Teach and support students in a supported internship setting, providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers.
- Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of our students.
- Provide regular feedback and assessment to students, helping them to identify areas for improvement and develop their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with employers and other stakeholders to develop and implement work placements and other learning opportunities for our students.
- Contribute to the development of the SEND curriculum area, including curriculum planning, teaching, and assessment.
- Participate in staff meetings and other professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in teaching and learning.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience of teaching and supporting students with SEND in a supported internship setting.
- Strong knowledge of the SEND curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
