Supported Internship Teacher

At USP College, we are committed to providing a high-quality education that prepares our students for successful careers. As a Supported Internship Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping our students achieve their goals and develop the skills they need to succeed in the workplace.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students with special educational needs, providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to access employment and further education. You will work closely with our curriculum area team to develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the needs of our students.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the needs of our students.
- Work closely with our curriculum area team to develop and deliver curriculum plans and resources.
- Assess and record student progress, providing regular feedback and support to students and parents.
- Contribute to the development of our college's career-focused learning strategy, working closely with local employers and community partners.
- Participate in staff training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of our college's SEND curriculum area, working closely with colleagues to develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience of teaching and supporting students with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the needs of our students.
- Knowledge of the SEND curriculum area and the ability to contribute to its development.
