R&D Strategy Director

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Strategy Director to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our R&D Strategy team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's research and development strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement R&D Strategy: Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to develop and implement a comprehensive R&D strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead and manage cross-functional teams to drive R&D projects forward, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
- Provide Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic guidance and support to R&D teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and expertise to deliver on their projects.
- Identify and Develop Sub-Strategies: Identify and develop sub-strategies for specific key enablers of R&D performance, such as portfolio shape and mix, technical and investment governance discussions, and future innovation.
- Experience in R&D Strategy: Proven experience in R&D strategy development and implementation, with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop strategic recommendations.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders and R&D teams.
