Mechanical Engineering Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprentice programme. As a Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work on real-time projects alongside leading Scientists and Engineers within a globally renowned company, while studying part-time to achieve a degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Acquire the skills required to work effectively within a Professional Engineering environment.
- Maintain the required results within the Mechanical Engineering degree course to ensure a pass mark.
- Support members of the Mechanical Engineering Team in the delivery of technical solutions that meet our Customer needs.
- Create and present design data to the appropriate Departmental 'Best Practices' and utilise industry leading tool sets.
- Deliver detailed designs; including numerical calculations, tolerance studies, etc.
- Produce Manufacturing Data Packs in line with BS8888, including appropriate use of GD&T.
- Generate piece parts, assemblies and mechanisms within the constraints defined by the Mechanical Lead.
- Work to meet Cost, Schedule and Quality demands.

- A-Level(s) A-C in STEM related subjects, Level 3 National Extended Certificate or similar.
