About the Programme

Our four-year programme for Electro-Mechanical Engineering Apprentices is a fantastic opportunity for you to join an accredited engineering scheme that has developed some of the leading engineering apprentices in the UK. You will study towards a BEng (Hons) Electro-Mechanical Engineering at University Centre Weston for 4 years, which will be fully funded by MBDA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on a range of products across all MBDA projects, including missiles and weapon systems.
  • Study towards a BEng (Hons) Electro-Mechanical Engineering at University Centre Weston for 4 years.
  • Attend college during term time and work on site during training provider holidays.
  • Gain hands-on learning experience within a professional and friendly workplace.
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths & English Language & Science/Technology at a Grade 9 - 4.
  • T-Level in an Engineering subject.
  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma including a Distinction in Further Maths.
  • Paid travel expenses to and from your place of study.
  • Annual pay reviews.
  • 25 days annual leave (plus holiday purchase) and up to 15 days flexi leave.
