Social Sustainability Specialist

BAM Nuttall is a leading construction company with a strong commitment to social sustainability. We are seeking an experienced Social Sustainability Specialist to join our team in Scotland. As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering our social mobility, foundational economy, and social inclusion activities.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a degree-level qualification, and experience in strategic stakeholder management and community engagement. You will be responsible for leading the development of BAM volunteering documentation, processes, and ambassador programs, as well as supporting Enabling Services teams to identify and organize group volunteering events. Additionally, you will work with the BAM Learning team to ensure e-learning modules on safeguarding and social sustainability are up-to-date.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable community engagement strategies
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to promote social sustainability initiatives
- Support the development of new social sustainability materials and programs
- Collaborate with various departments across the UK&I business to inform and support delivery of social sustainability elements of the Sustainability Strategy
