Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical/Steam/HTHW Engineer to join our team at HMP Swaleside. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.
About the Role:- Work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues to maintain and repair mechanical and steam systems.
- Ensure compliance with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements.
- Operate and maintain steam boilers in accordance with BG01 - safe operation of boilers.
- Experience working on commercial or industrial steam, heating, and water systems.
- Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
- BOAS accredited boiler operator course or equivalent.
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills.
