Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical/Steam/HTHW Engineer to join our team at HMP Swaleside, a Cat B Mens prison.
About the RoleAs a Mechanical/Steam/HTHW Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.
Key Responsibilities- Work on commercial or industrial steam, heating and water systems
- Be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
- Be familiar with and able to work to BG01 - safe operation of boilers
- Have experience working on steam boiler operators or equivalent
- Have good Health & Safety knowledge
- Have excellent organisational, time management and people skills
