We are seeking an experienced Conference & Events Planning Executive to join our team at The Economist Group LTD. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end project management and event planning for large conferences and exhibitions. Your primary focus will be on coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and ensuring seamless execution of client-focused events.

Your responsibilities will include managing project budgets, operational processes, and creative event concepts, as well as handling logistics, supplier selection, and event documentation. You will work closely with internal teams such as production, logistics, marketing, and programming to ensure alignment with client objectives and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead comprehensive project management throughout the delivery phase, ensuring seamless execution of key milestones.
  • Initiate and oversee project kick-off meetings, setting clear objectives and expectations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, ensuring coordination across functions such as production, commercial, programming, creative, logistics, and marketing.
  • Act as the facilitator for external and internal communications, organizing and documenting meeting agendas, notes, and presentations before, during, and after events.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing B2B events, specifically large conferences and exhibitions with 500+ attendees. Strong spoken and written English skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and Google applications. Exceptional client management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment are also required.
