GSL Education - Manchester is seeking a compassionate and skilled Learning Support Assistant to join their team at a vibrant Secondary School in South Manchester.

About the Role

The Learning Support Assistant will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with SEN. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and contributing to a supportive and inclusive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN in lessons, providing tailored assistance to help them access the curriculum
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement IEPs and behaviour management strategies

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Passion for creating a positive and enriching learning environment
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £17,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive excellent training and support to help them succeed in their role.
