Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a salary of £32,000 + benefits, reflecting the company's commitment to compensating employees fairly.
Job Description:
Collect timesheet data and payroll information from clients.
Enter data into payroll and internal programs.
Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, and commissions.
Prepare and process payslips.
Ensure clients are aware of their PAYE and National Insurance liabilities.
Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
Prepare and distribute income statements.
Respond to payroll-related enquiries.
Perform account balance and payroll reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports for accounting purposes.
Prepare periodic payroll reports for review by management.
Process payroll journals into clients' bookkeeping software.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of the full payroll process.
Good working knowledge of Sage 50.
Organised and accurate with attention to detail.
Ability to work to pre-set timeliness.
Organised and methodical approach to work.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Solid experience within a hands-on payroll role.
Able to manage own workload while achieving deadlines.
