Job Title: Collectors (Drug & Alcohol testing) – Hinkley Point

Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is a leading provider of diagnostic testing solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Collecting Officer to join our team in the Bridgewater region.

As a Collecting Officer, you will be responsible for conducting specimen collections at fixed sites, using various methods such as urine, breath, hair, and oral fluid. You will work closely with our team to ensure the highest quality of specimen collection services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specimen collections in a timely and efficient manner, following established procedures and customer requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Participate in the on-call service on a rotational basis, responding to calls and arriving on site within 2 hours.
  • Stay up-to-date with process updates and attend audits to ensure competence.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • Education to National Standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A self-motivated individual with a flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to follow established processes to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Driving license and own vehicle.
