We will utilize digital pathology with artificial intelligence and genotyping in a large cohort of PDD and DLB brain samples to conduct the first GWAS examining the role of genetics in relation to quantitative PD neuropathology.

The ideal candidate should possess a PhD/DPhil or be near completion in Neuroscience or a relevant field, along with experience in general molecular biology techniques.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 30/04/25, with interviews to follow shortly thereafter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in the aetiology of Lewy body dementias
  • Analyse data using digital pathology with artificial intelligence and genotyping
  • Publish research findings in reputable scientific journals
