About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our CIB Structured Trade Finance team. As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for providing sound and timely recommendations for structured trade finance credit facilities, supported by thorough analysis and interpretation of relevant structure, industry, business, and market information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert analysis and recommendations for structured trade finance transactions.
  • Liaise with business lines and credit teams to obtain credit approval.
  • Monitor the credit quality of the relevant portfolio.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in analysing structured trade finance transactions.
  • Sound understanding of structured trade finance products, such as prepayments, inventory finance, borrowing base facilities, and securitization.
  • University degree highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python a plus.

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English required.
  • Knowledge of Spanish an asset.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present complex data in an easy-to-digest manner.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal clients with diverse risk expertise, geographical, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Proactive and organized work style, able to handle multiple tasks and deliver on time amidst tight deadlines.
