Job Description: Construction Site Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our construction site operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of construction projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinate and manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Liaise with internal and external project managers to ensure smooth execution of EICA and mechanical installations.
  • Develop and review programmes, Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS), lifting plans, and project quality plans, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractor on-site activities and coordinate site acceptance testing (SAT) as required, promoting a collaborative environment.
  • Provide regular project updates, including program progress and change of scope requirements, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Ensure site construction meets design and quality standards through regular audits and inspections, protecting the company's reputation.

**Estimated Salary:** £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, based on industry standards.

**Requirements:

  • Certifications: Confined space training (medium risk minimum), Valid CSCS Card, SMSTS (5-day course completion), First Aid at Work training, Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor certificate.
  • Experience: Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering, Experience in safety management controls for construction works, Understanding of NEC forms of contract (preferable).
  • Skills: Excellent leadership skills, Ability to motivate and develop the construction team, Valid UK Driving License is essential.
