About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and impact-driven individual to join our Venture Science Doctorate (VSD) program. As a PhD student in Network Science, you will have the unique opportunity to combine scientific expertise with entrepreneurial skills to create high-impact ventures.

The VSD program is designed for individuals who want to launch science companies using advanced research and technology. You will work closely with our team of operators who have founded companies and led the translation of science at top universities, charities, funds, and government agencies.

**Salary:** £27,000 per annum (approximately $35,000 USD)

About the Program

The VSD program is a 3-year full-time program that combines academic rigor with entrepreneurial training. You will have access to our industry network, including introductions to seed investors and potential customers from our global network.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and develop innovative solutions to societal problems
  • Create and lead a science company using advanced research and technology
  • Work closely with our team to develop a scalable technology capable of product market fit
