We are working with a well-established Social Housing Contractor to find an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing new and ongoing projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bids
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project delivery
- Monitor and control project costs, quality, and timelines
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the social housing sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in MS Office and construction software
