Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. As a Bank Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for paediatric clients, working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highly specialist and evidence-based assessment, outcome measures, diagnosis, and intervention for paediatric clients aged from birth up to 18 years.
- Work independently in effective caseload management and optimal service delivery.
- Support the development of the Paediatric Physiotherapy Service at Cromwell Hospital.
- Participate in discharge planning and liaise with external agencies to ensure a safe and supportive discharge.
- Comply with confidentiality policies and maintain accurate patient treatment records.
- Manage clinical risk and ensure potential clinical risk is effectively communicated and managed.
- Recommend and provide therapy equipment within your scope.
- Participate in departmental in-service training programmes and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Proven experience in neurodevelopment and neurology and/or paediatric MSK and orthopaedics.
- Knowledge of paediatric outcome measures and standardised assessments.
- Knowledge of specialist equipment appropriate to paediatric physiotherapy.
