Job Title: Bank Paediatric Physiotherapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team as a Bank Physiotherapist. As a Bank Physiotherapist, you will provide specialist physiotherapy services to children and young people with neurological conditions, working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist physiotherapy services to children and young people with neurological conditions, including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring timely and effective communication with other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in departmental in-service training and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience in paediatric neurology and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines, and policies, including the Children Act 1989 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
