Streamline Search Ltd, a leading technical recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their construction goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies to ensure proposal efficacy and estimate material quantities, costs, labour, and time.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Perform risk and value management during a project, ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards.
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance work, negotiate contracts, and oversee subcontractors.
- Value completed work, arrange payments, and continually analyse outcomes to advise on contractual claims and disputes.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a scaffolding background.
- Bachelors degree preferred, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Salary - Up to £70,000 (depending on experience).
- Work from home opportunities.
- 28 days of holiday (including bank holidays and Christmas shutdown).
- Working hours are 7am-5pm (can be flexible).
- Yearly bonus opportunity.
- Laptop provided.
