A popular and inclusive secondary school in Enfield, is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and motivated individual who wants to gain valuable experience in education while making a real difference in students' lives.


Key Responsibilities:
Providing in-class support to students with learning difficulties, ensuring they can access the curriculum and make progress
Working closely with SEN teachers and the SENCO to implement individualised education plans (IEPs)
Supporting students with tasks such as reading, writing, and comprehension in both group settings and one-to-one sessions
Assisting with the development of students' social and emotional skills
Helping to create an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents

Key Requirements:
A recent degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, or related fields are advantageous)
A genuine interest in working with students with learning difficulties and a passion for education
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Ability to work as part of a supportive team and take initiative when needed
Previous experience in a school or working with young people (desirable but not essential)
