We are seeking an experienced Airport/Airfield Design Engineer to join our team at Dar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of international aviation standards and have a proven track record in airport layout development and geometric design.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing airport layouts, including runways, aprons, taxiways, aircraft stands, and landside/airside roads, utilizing Civil3D software. They will ensure compliance with International Civil Aviation Standards and Recommended Practices (ICAO SARPs), Airport Council International (ACI), International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines, and other relevant regulations.

The estimated salary for this role is $160,000 - $230,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree in Airports is desirable.\
  • Minimum 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in airport and airfield design.\
  • In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards, including AASHTO and Middle East Road standards.\
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and guide junior team members.\
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\
