About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Specialist to join our team at Connected Health, based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals who require support with daily tasks and personal care.

As a Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing essential support to service users, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being. Your role will involve undertaking personal care and daily living tasks, developing and maintaining professional working relationships, and communicating regularly with colleagues and supervisors.

We offer a comprehensive training program, accredited by industry experts, to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and daily living support to service users, as agreed upon with them, their families, and professionals involved in their care plans.
  • Work within the policies and procedures of Connected Health, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.
  • Empower service users to express their preferences regarding task execution.
  • Maintain professional relationships with service users, colleagues, and next-of-kin from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
  • No prior experience is required, as we provide full accredited training.
  • You must possess an empathetic nature, enabling you to understand and respond to the needs of service users.
  • A driver's license and access to a car are essential for this role.
