We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Safran Electrical & Power UK Ltd. This role will involve providing maintenance, repairs, and improvement work on equipment onsite, as well as assisting with day-to-day facilities maintenance and ensuring all servicing is carried out with minimal impact on production and engineering.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of electrical controls, systems, equipment, and robotics or previous experience working as a maintenance or repairs engineer. They will be able to liaise and work with sub-contractors as required, as well as the engineering and production teams to ensure disruptions are kept to a minimum.
About the Role
This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to make a significant contribution to our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide maintenance, repairs, and improvement work on equipment onsite
* Assist with the control, ordering, and replenishment of spare parts and components
* Liaise and keep production and engineering teams updated to ensure they are aware of disruptions
* Work with specialist sub-contractors to assist with maintenance on the site
* Input information into the management system, providing feedback to reduce unplanned downtime
* Order spare parts as and when requested
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of electrical controls, systems, equipment, and robotics or previous experience working as a maintenance or repairs engineer
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high-quality results
* Ability to liaise and work with sub-contractors as required, as well as the engineering and production teams

* Competitive salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
