Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to work for a leading company based in Newport on a full-time, permanent contract.

Estimated Salary: £26,500 per annum based on location and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular quality inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to guarantee compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain and utilize precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Recognize deviations, generate and handle non-conformance reports and grievances, and carry out corrective and improvement actions.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Create and preserve accurate inspection records, ensuring they are up-to-date and comprehensive.
  • Analyze data to pinpoint trends or patterns in product quality.
  • Evaluate if produced goods conform to company and sector standards.
