We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an End Point Assessor for Early Years Lead Practitioner.

Job Summary

The End Point Assessor will be responsible for assessing the performance of apprentices in the Early Years Lead Practitioner standard, ensuring that they meet the required standards and are competent in their role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the performance of apprentices in the Early Years Lead Practitioner standard
  • Ensure that apprentices meet the required standards and are competent in their role
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and expertise of the subject matter
  • Deliver the end-point assessment in-line with the EPA plan
  • Comply with the IQA requirements of the EPA
  • Have no direct connection or conflict of interest with the apprentice, their employer or training provider

Requirements

  • Hold a relevant Level 6 qualification
  • Have 2 years postgraduate relevant experience within Early Years Practice
  • Hold a DBS Certificate
  • Assessor qualification
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice
  • In-depth knowledge of the associated apprenticeship standard, assessment plan, specification, assessment instruments and recording tools
  • Ability to assess, free from bias
  • Ability to assess and report risks
  • Ability to meet deadlines

Working Arrangements

The successful candidate will be required to work independently, assessing apprentices in their own settings. They will be expected to have personal IT equipment capable of running Pearson required software, a suitable broadband connection, microphone, headphones and a webcam, and a personal and secure email account.
