We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing specialist eating disorder services for children and adolescents under 18 years old.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients under 18 years old with eating disorders and co-morbid mental illness in an outpatient setting, in line with NICE guidance and Trust policies.
- Develop strong partnerships with other agencies and services, including education, social care, primary care, and voluntary agencies, to support the care of children and adolescents with eating disorders.
- Contribute to clinical leadership within the Trust, participating in governance structures and working closely with the CAMHS and Adult Mental Health divisions.

Person Specification- Full registration with the General Medical Council
- Inclusion on or eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council or within 6 months of CCST/CCT or equivalent in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Section Approval and Approved Clinician Status or demonstrated ability to gain approval within a reasonable timeframe
- MB, ChB, MBBS or equivalent
- Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent
- 3 years higher professional training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
