We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team at Menzies LLP. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of audits, working closely with clients and colleagues to provide high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site audit teams and complete jobs with minimal supervision, to deadlines and within budget.
  • Develop and supervise trainees, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.
  • Communicate and build relationships with clients and related third parties, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Prepare accounts, reports, and other assignments as required, using your expertise to provide accurate and timely results.
  • Business development, promoting the firm and its services to existing clients and prospects, identifying new opportunities and driving growth.

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CA part or full exam-qualified accountant (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute or equivalent international qualification).
  • Recent experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice, with a strong understanding of International Standards on Auditing.
  • Experience of preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong communication skills and a confident user of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Motivated to take responsibility of the role and maintain a high level of quality service across all aspects of the job.
