Veterinary Care Professional

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Care Professional to join our team in Derbyshire and Sheffield. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a busy, RCVS accredited training practice.
About You- You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including laboratory work, anaesthetics, and monitoring.
- As a key member of our team, you will be required to work at either branch during weekdays and cover weekends on a 1:7 rotational basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with small animals and exotic species, as well as sedating and monitoring patients for procedures under veterinary supervision.
Your Key Responsibilities- Nursing duties such as monitoring anaesthesia, intubating patients, and assisting with surgical procedures.
- Dispensing and administering medication under direct veterinary supervision, maintaining accurate stock control, and following all protocols relating to drug handling.
- Participating in a veterinary nurse rota for 40 hours per week, which includes working weekends on a 1:7 rotational basis.
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will benefit from:
