Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Educator to join our team in acute care. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training programs in clinical skills and simulation-based education. Your expertise will enhance the skills and knowledge of our healthcare professionals, improving patient outcomes and shaping the future of healthcare education.

Your main duties will include working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop education programs that meet core standards and clinical governance criteria. You will also act as a resource for clinical supervisors, ensuring they are up-to-date with current policies and procedures in specified clinical skills.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop training outlines, session plans, learning objectives, competency statements, and visual aids
  • Liaise with clinical experts to review the content of training programs
  • Plan methodology for training delivery appropriate to specific staff groups and multi-disciplinary audiences
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised clinical professional registration (e.g., NMC/AHP qualifications)
  • A Post Graduate Certificate of Education or equivalent
  • BSc in a health-related field or evidence of working at this level
  • Maintained relevant CPD activity of a minimum 35 hours in the past 3 years
  • Post-registration experience in a relevant clinical or educational field
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,712 - £60,461 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
