Senior Investment Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Investment Risk Manager to join our team at Synchronicity Group. As a key member of our investment function, you will play a critical role in delivering effective pension and multi-asset investment risk management support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Investment Risk Framework: Design and oversee the framework, conduct risk modeling and analysis, and report to key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Investment Strategy: Analyze strategic asset allocation, manager selection, and scheme-level investment decisions.
  • Asset Class Expertise: Develop and maintain knowledge of various asset classes, focusing on their individual risk characteristics and how they are combined into portfolios.
  • Best Practice Techniques: Familiarize yourself with industry-leading investment risk management techniques.
  • System and Process Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal and external systems and processes used by the team.

To be successful in this role, you will need experience working at a multi-asset investment manager or in-house investment function of a large asset owner, with a broad understanding of various asset classes. Knowledge of UK DB pension schemes and their liabilities is essential.
