Job Title: Risk and Investment Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Investment Analyst to join our team. As a Risk and Investment Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of investment portfolios and the identification of potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze investment portfolios to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to ensure that investment decisions are aligned with the company's risk tolerance.
  • Provide regular portfolio monitoring reports to senior management.
  • Support the development of effective MI / KPIs to monitor ongoing competence and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Support the resolution of any breaches of client mandates.
  • Support the production of periodic reports to Boards and Investment Committees as required.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Portfolio Risk / Investment Risk / Front Office Risk / Front Office Controls role.
  • Experience of working in a discretionary or advisory investment management environment with a focus on Retail investors.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Investment focused - good understanding of client investment needs; a working knowledge of fixed income, equity and cash type instruments, investment concepts and characteristics; able to interpret investment risk analysis.
