HR Business Development Partner

The role of People/ Business Partner at a leading organisation in Liverpool offers an exciting opportunity to support the business with key HR functions.
As an experienced HR professional, you will play a pivotal part in providing expert procedural advice during investigations, leading on employee relations cases, and delivering essential HR training.
You will contribute to strategic HR projects and provide detailed personnel data analysis to inform senior leadership decisions.
This role is responsible for providing day-to-day HR support to select stakeholders within the business and taking the lead in the development and management of an agreed area.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day advice and support to leaders, managers, and staff on HR issues, including terms and conditions of service, pay, recruitment, employment law, policies, procedures, and practices.
- Support leaders and line managers in the application of the Staff Attendance procedure, ensuring all follow-up actions are completed.
- Record staff absence on relevant databases and systems.
- Advise leaders in the recruitment process, ensuring all appropriate documentation and approval is completed.
- Provide administrative support across the recruitment process, including conducting exit interviews, advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, liaising with applicants, following the safer recruitment process, drafting offer letters and contracts of employment, and ensuring all payroll documents are completed.
- Carry out pre-employment checks for new staff, ensuring all documentation is received and recorded correctly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records and files on all relevant databases and systems in compliance with GDPR.
- Work with other HR staff to develop, arrange, and administer the yearly new staff induction process.
- Take the lead in a specific HR function, providing expertise in this area to HR colleagues and stakeholders.
