Job Description:

The Regional Care Standards Director will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and maintaining the highest levels of care quality across a designated cluster of luxury nursing homes in the South West of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and guide home managers in ensuring that clinical, operational, and regulatory standards are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Lead and implement quality assurance processes across multiple homes in the region.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments of care quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Develop and support the implementation of action plans to address identified gaps in service.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance, ensuring homes meet or exceed CQC and other healthcare standards.
  • Analyse data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, residents, and families.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the nursing homes.
Salary and Benefits:

Up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior quality role within healthcare, nursing homes, or residential care settings.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality frameworks.
  • A successful track record in leading quality improvements and compliance initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and implement actionable strategies.
  • Willingness to travel across the region as required.
  • Clinical qualification (Nursing/RGN) is highly desirable.
