Technical Solutions Architect for AVEVA PI Systems

At Senitor Associates Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Architect to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in designing and implementing high-end SCADA systems using AVEVA PI solutions.

As a Technical Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions. You will propose robust solution architectures that align with customer needs, deliver consultancy and project work within specified time, cost, and quality parameters, and assist in responding to customer RFI/RFPs.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the AVEVA PI portfolio, including AVEVA CONNECT, Datahub, and OSI OCS. They will also possess deep knowledge of communication drivers and data interfaces, such as OPCUA and MQTT, and be able to configure and troubleshoot from PLC to ERP systems.

We offer a competitive salary package of around £70,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and a chance to work on challenging projects with a dynamic team.

In this role, you will interact with customers at both technical and commercial levels, from engineers to C-level executives, and communicate the value proposition of AVEVA PI solutions. You will also stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and opportunities related to products/services, providing direct feedback to the product group and sales while contributing to supplier technical pain lists.

To succeed in this position, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask and prioritize work effectively, and be willing to learn new software and hardware skills. Experience in developing and supporting high-end PI solutions, skills in data and information management, and proficiency in Python scripting are also essential.
