Purchase Ledger Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our team at JSL Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining and controlling all aspects of Purchase Ledger Supplier Accounts on our procurement software, Kinetic.
Key Responsibilities:- Match, batch, and code supplier invoices accurately to ensure timely payment processing.
- Ensure all ledgers are up to date with weekly and monthly payment processing, maintaining accurate records and minimizing errors.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers to resolve any issues that arise, providing excellent customer service.
- Produce daily and monthly BACS, credit, and pro-forma upfront accounts on a rotational basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct monthly payment runs, reconciling supplier statements and addressing invoice queries in a timely manner.
- Maintain and reconcile petty cash across all branches monthly, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors.
- Deal with invoice queries, leading to accurate reserves analysis and regular updates to the invoice query register.
- Liaise with the Company accountant to resolve reconciliation problems, ensuring seamless financial operations.
What We Offer:
- Hourly rate of £12.00 per hour.
- Hours of work: 08.00 to 17.00 with 1 hour lunch.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Two weeks paid leave for Reservists to attend yearly training/camp.
- Life Cover – 3 x base salary.
- Pension – Employer 3% and Employee 5%, employer contribution rising to 5% after 12 months in role.
