Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Business Partner to join our People Performance team. As a Business Partner, you will work closely with our Retail teams, providing expert advice and guidance on people-related matters. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders
  • Holding regular reviews with stakeholders to review their people, covering all elements of the colleague experience
  • Working with other teams within the People function, including Recruitment and Learning & Development
  • Completing talent reviews with stakeholders, agreeing actions and proactively monitoring progress of these
  • Succesion planning for key roles
  • Supporting with upskilling of managers
  • Maintaining a focus on colleague engagement
  • Supporting with new store openings and closure processes
  • Managing employee relations cases

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar generalist HR/People role
  • Proven experience of managing employee relations cases, including complex cases
  • Experience of working within a highly customer-centric or retail environment
  • Confidence working with data
  • Natural curiosity and ability to solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to make impact and build effective relationships
  • Ability to collaborate, persuade, and influence

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including:
