Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Kitnocks House. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, supporting them with their daily living needs and promoting their independence and dignity.

You will work as part of a dedicated team to deliver person-centred care, focusing on the unique needs and challenges of each individual. Your excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families will be essential in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting residents with personal care, mealtimes, and social activities
  • Helping residents remain as independent as possible
  • Respecting residents' rights of choice, privacy, and dignity
  • Communicating effectively with other staff and members of the team
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 12 months' experience working in care (essential)
  • A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
