Hospitality Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Supervisor to join our team at The Manor House Roundhay, our brand new 65-bed care home in Leeds. As a Hospitality Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing a first-class dining experience for our residents, their families, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train a Hospitality Assistant to support you in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Provide a fantastic dining experience in a luxury environment, working as part of a dedicated and highly trained team.
- Ensure the presentation of the restaurant is of the highest standard, including setting up tables with linens, silverware, and glassware, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Provide front-of-house service to the restaurant and Café Bar, meeting and greeting customers, and seating them in a timely and efficient manner.
- Present and advise on menu choices, ensuring that specials for the day are offered, and take food and beverage orders from customers.
- Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring they are enjoying their meals and do not have any further requirements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, crockery, and utensils, and report any concerns to the line manager.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ideal level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this.
- A positive, professional approach and understanding of person-centered care with older people.
- Experience of working in the service or care sector, providing face-to-face customer service is desirable.
- Flexibility to do shift work, including working alternate weekends.
