Falmouth Fairfax Real Estate Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively instructed by Dorrington to source a Residential Investment Surveyor for their growing team.
The team is responsible for a portfolio of properties which provides a variety of homes for rent, including traditional rented homes on ASTs and protected tenancies, fully serviced apartments, and an expanding co-living offer.
The properties are diverse spanning period mansion blocks to modern, purpose-built rental buildings, single houses, and whole estates.
Key Responsibilities- Asset Management:
- Assisting with the execution of asset management initiatives, including capital expenditure programmes, new lettings, renewals, and rent reviews.
- Assisting with the formation of asset management strategies for existing assets and prospective purchases.
- Investment:
- Sourcing and evaluating new investment and development opportunities with the team.
- Assisting with compiling information to facilitate the acquisition/sales process.
- Analytical:
- Market research – liaising with agents and valuers and analysing market reports to produce market intel and assumptions for business plans and cash flow analysis.
- Reporting – assistance with the production of board reports for the existing portfolio and investment memorandums for potential acquisitions.
- Degree or similar professional qualification.
- MRICS qualification (preferred).
- At least two years' experience in the real estate industry.
As the level of experience for potential candidates is varied for this position, the salary will be dependent on the successful candidate's prior experience.
In addition to the basic salary, there will be a range of benefits and an annual bonus.
