Job Title: Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to older adults with mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing care to older adults with mental health needs
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development of new models and methods of working
  • Teach and mentor junior doctors and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for GMC registration
  • Experience in older adults care
